Poverty and Prosperity

Invictus Poster
Poverty and prosperity are each a condition brought about by certain ideas which have been allowed to grow and thus become dominant in consciousness.

The only thing that a person has dominion over is  their own thoughts.

People born into prosperity will, for the most part, have a mindset that supports their lifestyle in the materialistic world of form.

This mindset, one would presume, also goes someway to supporting an inner life of spiritual learning and living.

A person born into poverty consciousness will be faced with an altogether different mindset.

The outer world of form manifests to reflect the turmoil in the mind, the weeds of negativity growing uncontrollably when left unattended and unnoticed.

A troubled mind can affect rich or poor, this is well understood; but most people would be in agreement that the dice is particularly loaded against those experiencing hardship, at the lower end of the human scale.
Those in or just above the poverty line.

What is to be done to ease the burden, slacken the yoke of misery and despondency?

The last thing a person who is suffering and devoid of hope needs, is to be told to 'pull themselves together', 'get a job', or 'look on the bright side', by people who have never had to face the same set of challenges or hurdles.

It is not unreasonable to assume that most people would rather struggle with the comfort of money than without.

Each individual persons' circumstances are different.
It would be unfair to generalise, rich or poor.

All that can be challenged, changed and conquered is our minds.

Our greatest opportunity for healing of mind and body, is self realisation; the metamorphosis of human consciousness, achieved by a free spontaneous existence.

There is no lack in the mind of the Absolute and mankind being a co-creator needs to move toward this truth.

If there is to be a shift in consciousness, first there needs to be a surrender, in tandem with the insulation of the mind from destructive thoughts.

The growing realisation of the I AM part of self, and the sending out of thoughts of abundance, in the light of strengthening Faith will have a corresponding return in response.

The imagination is a creative power.

Associated with faith, it causes thoughts to be born into the materialistic world.
As the finite surrenders to the infinite, life takes on new purpose.

Life is experienced on a new plain, the truth becomes the new creed that is lived by and for.

Abundance shared, benefits the donor and the recipient as the spiritual energy is received and given. Compassion and gratitude are brothers of the same family.

If it be just the shared thoughts of good will for a fellow traveller, that will make for a better world for all.
